These terms govern your use of Coommit (operated by TAAO Inc.). By creating an account, joining the beta waitlist, or using the product, you agree to them.
Coommit is currently in closed beta. That means:
You must provide a real email address, keep your credentials secure, and not share your account. You're responsible for everything that happens under your login.
Don't use Coommit to:
You own everything you create in Coommit — canvases, recordings, transcripts, files. We need a limited license to host and process it so the product works (for example: storing a recording you made, running transcription, showing messages to the people in your room). We don't sell your content and we don't train public models on it.
Coommit uses AI (Echo, Gemini, and similar) to help during calls. If you bring your own API key, that key is used for your requests only and is stored encrypted. If you use our provided AI, please don't paste secrets, credentials, or regulated data into prompts.
We collect the minimum data needed to run the service: account info, room metadata, and usage analytics. We don't sell personal data. For details, write to hello@coommit.com.
The beta is free. When paid plans open, we'll tell you before charging anything. Payments are processed by Stripe.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users or to the service.
Coommit is provided "as is" during the beta. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TAAO Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, during the beta, is zero).
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If changes are material, we'll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
